Go to your Dashboard > Wp Social > Social Login (Global Settings) > Limit Login Attempts

Find Limit Login Attempts and turn it ON. Then you can adjust the settings according to your preference-

Maximum attempts- Here you will set the number of maximum failing attempt an user can take. For example if you set 3, a person can try to login 3 times, not more than that.

Time Lockout (in Minute)- Set the time for how many minutes you want to lock a user for his failing login attempts. If a user failed to login and exceed the maximum limit then he will be locked out for this certain time.

Wait for reset (in Minute)– After exceeding the maximum failing attempt number, a user have to wait for a specific time if he wants to reset the login details again. In this step you will fixed that reset time in minutes.

After saving the setting you can test it if it is working in accordance with your setting. Log out your account and attempts login with wrong details.

See the example below, here we have set 3 maximum attempts, 2 minutes lockout time, and 2 minutes reset time. The message looks like this-
