Hi, thanks — bit of an odd comparison in places. I feel that if you’re going to list WordPress dependency as a disadvantage for a WordPress plugin, you might also want to mention that you can’t self-host a Wix site and that if you cancel your Wix subscription, you lose your website as there’s no easy way to migrate content elsewhere.

      Hi Peter,
We appreciate your feedback and valid points.

Elementor’s dependency on WordPress isn’t inherently a disadvantage, but it can be seen as a limitation when compared to Wix.

Because, Wix websites can be hosted on both the self-hosted Wix platform and WordPress, whereas Elementor websites are exclusively hosted on WordPress.

In addition, Wix-hosted websites with blog posts, pages, images can be seamlessly migrated to WordPress for enhanced flexibility and control over time.

      Thank you. Stay tuned.
