An inline popup is a compact UI element that appears within the current interface to present brief content or quick actions without interrupting the user’s flow. You can easily create and customize it using PopupKit, making it a flexible solution for lightweight interactions.
With PopupKit, you simply select the Inline campaign type, configure where it should appear, and place its shortcode on your desired page.
Steps to follow:
✅ Step 1: Open a Popup
Open your WordPress dashboard, go to PopupKit, and either create a new campaign or edit an existing popup.
✅ Step 2: Select Inline Type
From the campaign type options, select Inline and copy the generated shortcode.
✅ Step 3: Set Conditions
Set display conditions by including a specific page, post, or child page where you want the popup to appear.
✅ Step 4: Add Shortcode
Paste the shortcode into your chosen page or post, save, and preview the result.
Example: If you want to show an inline popup on a “Sample Page,” select Inline as the campaign type, set the display condition to include that page, then paste the shortcode into the page content. Once published, the popup will appear exactly where the shortcode is placed.
Takeaway: An inline popup in PopupKit works as an embedded element controlled by shortcode placement, giving you precise control over where and how it appears within your content.
